I want a small complete aquarium, maybe 20 or less gallons. I would think top quality live rock and sand (because that is by far what I am most interested in) 2 clown fish, 4 green chromis, a feather duster, a starfish, and maybe 8 hermit crabs. I dont know if I would add corals. I did have a 200 gallon tank many years ago so I have a bit of knowledge on mistakes. I am thinking this would be a pretty simple tank to maintain. But I would love to hear advice in any way, like what nano tank, easy coral, perhaps other marine life, best live rock etc. Whatever you guys got.

Iam starting to love the all in one tanks . With your chambers at the back .
1 you don’t see any equipment
2 you can add carbon bags easy and quickly
3 they really are plug in and start your cycle
This is only my opinion but other members might have better info

Let’s bump this
Imo live rock in the tank and then cycle . Best filter you will buy
I don’t have anything on the floor but if you like sand your choice
Cuc turbo snails are good workers on the ugly stage which you will go through
If it’s a small nano no need for skimmer in imo just small weekly water changes
Cycle your tank fully before thinking about a fish 1

6 fish in a 15-20 is probably a little too many in most people’s opinion. Especially the ones listed. Think about some smaller gobies if you want to have more fish and ditch the chromis. I love my Red Sea max nano. All in 1, just add rock sand and a heater and you’re good to go

Yeah I thought about this later. The chromis love to fly. A small tank might not be a gret space for them.
