As long as we all agree the 1500 is no problem for 1" pipe in a bean animal, it's my execution of the secondary drain then. This makes sense to me.
Do you have 2 elbows in the primary full siphon bean drain? Not sure if that effects performance.

I don't see a fresh air leak hole in the top. Without that, the air will be locked in the candy canes and it won't be flowing much at all.View attachment 2950526
