Wanted to reach out to you all and say hello! Name is Blaine I am one of the mods here on the group and I wanted to strike up a conversation with all members!

Who is looking for new pieces, but would rather get them locally? I know I do!

If you got pieces you wanna swap or trade bring em up on this thread! Cheers all and happy reefing!

I have noticed there's not a very big presence in local frag swapping of even many people selling/ buying frags from hobbyists. Ive put up posts on here and offer up for some zoa frags I've made and have had very little luck, either people think im asking too much or people are only looking for a screaming deal. Is there another source people use in the area for buying/ selling corals here?

Used to be more so when there was PSAS.
Getting from others can be good but also if you don’t QT or more likely can’t ( no 2nd settup tank) it can be bad.
I remember red bugs going around destroying SPS in many peoples tanks.
But also people getting out of the hobby selling healthy stuff.
Just maybe carry an eye loupe.

I'm always looking to swap. I have the normal hitchhikers. Aphtasia, Bristle worms, Sponges, Starfish and the like. But I control them all naturally. Anyway I like to trade colonies when possible.
