As the title states, I'm looking for a shop or individual locally that I can buy coral from. I live in Bristol County Massachusetts. My LFS is terrible and all their coral have bugs, diseases, algae etc that I don't want to introduce into my display. Since I don't have a frag QT yet, only a fish QT, I need to find clean coral from a reliable source until I can afford to start another QT build.

https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/coral-starter-frag-pack-20-frags.544580/#post-5714916 I know you said local, but even with shipping I doubt you'll find 20 frags for around 225 or so locally. I can't...

I'm positive I wont find a price as low as that for 20 frags but I'm not interested in buying that many unknown frags. I prefer to pick and choose what goes in and when, and would much rather pick them personally. I'm also not a fan of softies or a lot of LPS. The only reason I'm going to be adding some LPS is because I need coral for lower portions of tank and they are typically hardier than SPS which I need while my tank gets fully established.

SCR,

The team at Ocean State Corals has a huge selection of softies, LPS and SPS at very competitive prices. They are worth the hour or so drive for you, IMO. I have no affiliation with them other than as a customer.

Might be worth the 45 minute ride. Wish they had more on their website so I could see all that they have but I will definitely check them out. Thank you!
