I can not get rid of this little dot of algae.
It has been like this for over 6months, and i have no other algae in the tank.
It doesnn't grow or bother me.
But it does bother the little frag of monti sunset.

I heard of dipping it in peroxide?? or something.

any tips?

I never had success with peroxide.

I used microbacter clean with 100% of success.

It took some days / weeks to work but it really kills / removes the alges even from frags - just my experience - I had very "hairy" frags.

It will kill any other algae you have.
In my case , caulerpas were gone. Which was fine.

If you are close I can give you some. I don't have anymore usage of this bottle.

As I mention before, it targets all algaes.

It includes macroalgaes (caulerpas, chaeto and others).

so your refugium will die.

Better a chaeto dying than hair algae taking over your tank lol

It does not make miracles for sure. A good housekeeping is always required.

Dont do experiments only to deal with this small turf of algae, just remove it manually, and if needed spray the place where it is with peroxide carefully without touching the coral.
