Just something I felt was worth sharing because I was amazed at the response. In our IM 25 Lagoon I had a pretty significant GHA outbreak. I did my water changes and removed what I could manually, however the GHA was winning at an alarming rate. Before going to chemicals I adjusted my AI Prime and bam... instant reaction. I was running the blues at 60%, Green 4%, Red 4%, and White at 4%. I cut the lighting by more than half... Blues/UV/Purples I knocked back to 20%, Red and Green 0%, White 2%. For that small size tank the lights are still plenty bright for the coral, and the GHA took a brutal hit. Its is almost 100% gone. Sand bed, rocks, and coral bases are all clean. So if you are struggling with Algae it might be worth knocking the lights back before going the more invasive route. I wish I had taken a before and after shot but I really wasn't expecting that significant of results. I hope this can help someone else in the future.
