Has anyone ever had experience with a red linckia eating coral? I have had linckia before and never witnessed this behavior.

If linckia reliably ate coral, then at least we'd know how to keep them alive long term :p
(their dietary requirements are pretty much mysterious.)

I wish I had found this topic earlier.

Literature and most people advise the Linckia didn't eat the coral but was cleaning aftermath.

But the truth is, I got a blue Linckia that consistently eats specific type of montiporas.

They are not reef safe as they are made to be, and it's unfortunate that most advice is usually related to a "clean up behaviour" rather than a "corallivore behaviour".
