I had 2 of them. I am using the other one I had. I wouldnt run the lights without. the difference was huge. Makes it actually pleasing to look at with it on. But I will say it seems to take away alot of power. I have to run mine at 85% intensity with a modified AB+ setting on a 35cube to get proper par. Getting 285par at around 6" with that setting

do you think i could use a light diffusing acrylic 3" below the light to have similar effects? i just dont like the diffuser covering the whole light.

if that is the case, where does the reflected lights go?I would put a foil sort reflecting sheet inside the diffuser to re-reflect the wasted light. I was thinking about how i could do that if i hang an acrylic under the light in the open air.

there is a white panel that is installed in the radion the magnets attach to. so that would be reflecting alot of light back down
