Do you plan on hanging the lights or using mounting arms? Do you want a built in timer? Do you want to be able to control it from your phone? And is it just going to be softies?
Either hanging them or led strip. Timer or phone control not a real big deal. Yeah mostly softies might add a scoly later on.

You could go with something like a reefbrite, viparspectra, or reefbreeders. These are all nicer blackboxes that will do the trick for that price. I would personally hang them up to get the best spread.
