I asked about lighting in another thread and got some great responses, however, now I have more choices…can we rule ANY of these out???
20G long…aspiring sticks/mixed display tank. Probably hanging lights so height can be adjusted.

Pair of AI primes
Pair of noopsyche pro v3
Single reefi uno 2.0
Pair of orphek bars(dunno which models to select…)with the new controller that looks fantastic
Single radion xr15 G6

Pair of AI primes Great choice
Pair of noopsyche pro v3 If your trying to save money.
Single reefi uno 2.0 Had to google this one.
Pair of orphek bars I use a Single Quanta 36" bar paired with my Hydra 32s. Great for increasing par
Single radion xr15 G6 Wont be enough coverage IMO. You may need two.

A single Hydra 32 or a Radion xr30 would cover that tank. Or two orphek bars.

20 gal long is an odd shaped tank. I use one for a QT tank and use a nicrew 30 watt angled.

Quanta’s and noopsyche aren’t that expensive in an expensive hobby.
I got a used 4 bulb T5 and made my own mounting brackets for $75. Plenty bright and hopefully with the right bulbs it’ll work for coral. My par may be a little high with what I got tho…

I really do like having the long light from end to end, if I ever move on to LEDs, I would get a blade style light (I have a 20g long too)

Thank you! I should be more specific as to tank size, it’s an IM 20 peninsula, @ 24 inches by 13 by 13. Not quite a 20 long.

How about a single 150 watt MH pendant? It would give perfect coverage on a 20 long, and would probably be similar in price as your current list. MH lighting for sticks, compared to blue led, looks completely different. Something to consider..

I wouldn't rule out any known brand of LEDs thats been on the market long enough to check out some user data/reviews. I would however factor a par meter into your budget or find someone that can loan you one. My only experience in LED is with AI and Kessil and both grow corals and maintain good health of corals so long as they are dialed in IME. I switched to Kessil mostly due to the form factor in the way that I wanted to be able to mount them. The switch from AI to Kessil was pretty seamless for me so I would deduce that most LEDs will grow coral just fine.
