So I'm sitting here having a morning cocktail getting ready to roll to game 1 of the world series and my 4 year old XR15 light just took a dump on me.

How long can corals go with only one light working on the tankninstead of two? I won't be able to deal with this problem till at least Monday most likely. Fully stocked mixed reef with lot of SPS colonies.

Im no expert but, i believe if you feed the coral they will last much longer without light since they still get nutrients. Try putting the 2nd light towards the middle so most of the tank gets light a d put up the intenisty. Again i am no expert so if i am wrong somone please correct me.

Light can't move anymore and there are plenty of nutrients but I think they need light to absorb the nutrients.
