Hello,

Any light recommendations to mount into a wood canopy, 75 gallon corner tank. I have LPS and shrooms and been using only the Fluval 3.0 since it's mountable. I wanted to go with the Radion or Ecotech but looks like those are not recommended to be in a canopy. I'm not sure if the Noopsyche K7 V3 can. TIA.

I have my Noo-Psyche's mounted in a canopy. I did however cut a circular hole above the lights for the fan to work properly. Best of luck :)

I’m planning a new canopy myself. I’m currently using Fluval marine 3.0’s (because they fit), but I’ve been looking at a number of options. Right now, the leading contender for me is the orphek OR3, which comes with mounting brackets that look like they would be usable mounting into wood.

I’ll be interested to see what you decide.

@darnoc23 I’m using a Reefzbreeder light inside a canopy and so far so good! For the price however, take a look at the AI units as well.
Thank you all for the response.

Mike, can the AI be mounted? Would be a good option if it can be.

I don’t see why you couldn’t mount the AI in a canopy. I originally used two Primes that I secured to the canopy by using the brackets from the hanging kit. For the Hydras I think you just need to add a couple of metal brackets. Shouldn’t be difficult
