I am looking to buy a Small external Algae scrubber for my 50 Gallon tank.

I have a JBJ 45 All in one tank. I understand the light placement and peel away the black film but not understanding how to set up this part.
" I would make the ATS 3 sided. Place one peice of mesh vertical opposite the light a second piece I would form into a U or V shape on the sides of the champer."
A picture of the setup would be wonderful.

I don't have a tank like that, but your idea should work well. A little heat will help make a V bend. I would cut the back to fit inside the V at an angle, so you get a bit of flow through it. Super glue it together. 1 sheet of mesh should be enough for a couple trys if your not happy with the first one. If your really stuck, send me your dimensions and I will see what I can mock up for you.. Good luck and post your results in my thread to give others ideas.
