I love diy. Here are a couple of my productions:

A funnel that sits below feeder to keep my lid clean.
A gravel rake from pvc pipe.
And I put my make up reservoir on drawer slides to make refilling easy.

Yep. I love slides. I want to do the same for my controls as well if I can ever find the time.
The secret sauce is putting the whole thing out from the side of the cabinet so you can mount power strips behind it. I used 2x4s and wish I had about 1/4" more clearance for plugs sticking out the front of my EB8s. So, if doing this, shoot to add some washers behind the slides!

A few more diy’s:
I welded up my own light rack out of 3/4” aluminum bar.
Printed out diy flow accelerators nozzles for my returns.
And I’m currently printing out diy clamps for my new UV filter.

I'm interested in designing some "hanging macroalgae baskets" for my tank to keep my macro away from the turbos and urchins!

Thinking 2 of these laterally above the water line, filing grooves and using the grooves to catch fishing line to attache via 4 points to a tile or piece of rubble with macros glued on top:

Just not sure how to get them hung up on the glass...

Maybe modified hose clips?

This allowed me to use DI canisters as reactors in a repurposed RODI

Do the hose clips get attached to the glass?

I was thinking of maybe a type of single frag rack magnet, but instead of a flat surface for the frag plug to go into, it could be a curved surface for the rods to rest on or have the frag plug hole being vertical to insert the rod into. Nothing like that online, though. I may just end up gluing the rods with silicone right onto the glass!

Yeah, hose return clips mount on the glass. Magnets would work nicely too, I think.
