I am getting ready to hard plumb my SCA 150 rimless tank!! I'm going to be planning on running two Return pumps in my new CL-44 Synergy sump! 1 pump for each return..

Let's see some of your tanks and how you have your tank hard plumbed using a external overflow box?

I have got my returns dry plumbed and was doing some dry fitting with my Synergy External Overflow box...
I am going to be starting in a few weeks plumbing this beast
Looks good!
I like the strainer. Would be good for stray chaeto and large particles of anything else.
I think the plastic inserts come in different microns too.
I used the synergy box too :)
Mines all glued now.
Hindsight I should have added a few more unions so all my gates are positionable at any time, i had an issue with the valve not being 100% square with the back of tank. But its ok since the plumbing isnt visable from the front lol.

My 120 when I had just started setting it up last year. Each side of the manifold can rotate up to 180° via a union depending on what I'm running at the time. It can be in the up position to keep it out of the way until needed. I used regular white pvc to match the inside of the stand.

Not to derail the thread, but any advice for how to hard plumb from the return pump and have it be the perfect length? I always end with the pump sitting off center or an inch off the ground when I finish

I cut and dry fit everything first, then draw a line where each piece meets the other with a sharpie. When you glue and reattach, stop at the line you drew. Should come out exactly the same.
