I am planning on upgrading to an 80 gallon tank from a 55 gallon. Would you add a kole tang or a foxface?
What are the dimensions of the tank?

I don't have a tank yet but I will be looking for something 45 to 48 inches long.
In a 4’ tank, if it’s not too slim you could do both a foxface and a Ctenochaetus species - I’d aim for a 4’x2’ tank personally.

Remember; you can’t get the true Kole anymore and you’ll have to go for another Ctenochaetus species as Kole’s are endemic to Hawaii.

Understood, I was planning on getting something similar to a Fiji 81 Gallon EXT. If you were to pick one, which one would it be? Such as ,which would you get first?

80 gallons normally doesn’t come in 48” usually the 36” or 42”. 80 gallon total volume right? Personally I think it’s a little small to add both I’d go one or the other if you can find a 45” or 48” but I’d aim for a Foxface. That would work both in the 3 to 4 foot mark but the tang ideally wouldn’t do too well.
