I have seen lots of cat pictures on the forums and I could use a little help from cat lovers. There has been a cat setting off one of my cameras on the side of the house. Yesterday I was looking out the window and I saw mama and 4 kittens playing in the wood pile. Should I put some food out for them? I want to trap them and at least get them fixed at the humane society, but I don’t want to scare any of them off and separate them. I think the kittens are pretty young and they need their mother. What should I do? I have no experience with cats. IMG_6743.jpeg IMG_6742.jpeg

Yes you should feed them. If you can trap momma to get spayed that would be awesome. I'd look into a non profit first.

We spent over 10 years scooping up every stray cat in our neighborhood, lucky for us we were the very last place these cats could eat, they would starve otherwise.
If you catch the momma which will be hard the kittens will follow if you catch the kittens the babies will follow.
Feed them in a large cage, they will get used to you, He who has the food has the power.
You will need to get the kittens used to people and kitty box trained. After everything is done get the mom fixed, try to find a charity that will help.
When you are ready to have the kittens adopted, take them to Target, the key is one hour before it gets dark, maybe two hours. The reason people are going in for the last thing and going home, when you do it at 9 AM they say no because they have 3 games to go and a birthday party at 3.
