I recently bought a used RedSea Max 130D. The previous owner upgraded the lights with Steve's LEDS, and a WiFi Bluefish controller to be synced with your smartphone for the control. I have a new Kessil 360x, and I'm trying to see about configuring it to the Bluefish controller (WiFi card), but I'll likely end up buying an actual controller seeing as the WiFi card is not blinking up for me, plus it seems from a pop up message on the app, it's soon going to require subscription.

Does anyone have experience with both these lighting systems? Am I missing out by not using the RedSea Max 130D with the upgrade, or is the Kessil 360X the better light? Anyone know how to get the Kessil 360X to work with a Bluefish controller? Any help is good help. Thanks.

Are you referring to the full bluetooth controller or the mini?
Full version, mini does 3.3V PWM

just the mini
You would need a conversion board to go from the 3.3V (normally around 500Hz) pwm signal to 10v analog dim signal for the Kessil.
Something like this..
