Hey guys,
So I started using KALK in my ATO a month ago to raise my PH.
I use about 3 tablespoons for 10 gallons.
I have seen a small rise in my PH but I cant get to be over 8.1 consistently. It goes to 8.2 and then dips down for a few days to 8.1
I have had a window open with warmer weather and dogs outside and I use skimbreeze attached to my skimmer air intake.

So should I add more kalk to my solution or am i doing something wrong.
P.S. there is alot of the kalk solution at the bottom of my ATO that I have to clean so I think I may be using too much as it is.

Any advice would be appreciated

Y

Through apex trident.
It goes down about .20 DKH per day.

If that is with the added kalkwasser, then you can add more solid calcium hydroxide into the ATO water.

Yup. That’s with kalk and then I supplement with KH buffer to keep it in range. The kalk doesn’t really help much with that

Not sure exactly what you are saying, but replacing the buffer with more kalkwasser or with sodium hydroxide can give the same alk and higher pH.
