This is the beginning of my build! This is 9 months in the making and I finally started putting everything together this past weekend. All (most) of the equipment is purchased, including plumbing, so now it's just a matter of putting it altogether. I'll try to update this thread weekly, organizing the build by weeks.
This is my sixth tank as a reefer and I've been in this hobby for 13 years. I'm excited to share my build with everyone!
Week 1 (Aug 20th): Put together custom Alufab stand, painted and drilled aquarium
Week 2 (Aug 27): Aquascape finished, tank on stand, equipment and plumbing dry install.
Week 3 (September 17): Plumbed, added water and sand.
Final Week (September 24): Cycling begins! Tank is fully setup with four bulb hybrid T5 and six AI primes, Maxspect skimmer, two Maxspect return pumps (x2), mp10s (x4), and two gyres (300 series). Last addition is the algae scrubber.
