Hello all, I am completely new to this hobby with zero (and I do mean zero) knowledge. I found my way here by accident; I've been going through a tough time recently had a chance to watch a tank just doing its thing (via one of those chill ASMR-type videos). The experience was so meditative and made me remember all the excitement of trying to raise my own goldfish back when I was just a dumb, silly kid with no idea what I was doing. Wanting to recapture that feeling has me searching and reading non-stop, even though I don't expect to actually create my own tank for a few years. Happy to be here and thanks to all the vets who are so open to share their wisdom with the community - I've learned a lot even in just the few weeks I've been researching and eavesdropping on conversations.
I hope to hook up with a club in my area at some point - but the closest ones don't have a super active internet presence so I'm not really sure how big they are. (I'm on the main line in PA.) For now, I'll just keep swimming & learning
