Hi all

Just getting back into reef keeping after a 4 year break.

I'm currently cycling a Fluval Evo 13.3, I love the simplicity of this tank.

I have upgraded the return pump with an Ehiem 1000. Disposed of the horrible sponge filter, and replaced with an Intank media basket in the first chamber containing some the disposed of black sponge to catch large particles, then the Biomax that came with tank.

Second chamber consists of Marine Pure spheres.
Third chamber consists of return pump, and heater.

Additional flow will be provided by a Hygger Mini Wave Maker.

Currently cycling live rock which has some brittle stars, a couple of Bristle worms ( which I'm OK with) and live sand been wet since 23 January. My intention is to keep softies and some LPS, as I'm going to keep the stock lighting.

Been reading loads of posts this brilliant forum.

Thanks for reading

Graham
