Just purchased this coral with live rock - what is this?

Hi all,

Just wanted to ask, I purchased this coral today which came with live rock.

(i’m assuming it’s a kind of rhodactis - correct me if wrong)

But i am curious as to what is growing around it and whether i should remove it or keep it with the rock.
