I came home today and noticed this white blotch on my tang. Water parameters are in range and no overly aggressive fish in tank. Spot was not there last night. Hoping someone can help me id what's going on. I'm hoping it might just be a small injury from hitting a rock.

This is a scratch or wound from object (likely rock) as these fish startle easily. This is a blemish that should heal on its own, however keep an eye on it for healing and not becoming red or sore

Thank you for the reply. This is my first tang and would hate to lose it.
