Hey everyone! Checking in from Maine. So long story short, 6 years ago or so, I had a 55gal with a 40B sump that I had to shut down as I was still renting and had to move. I gave all my live rock, inverts, and fish to my buddy. That tank was a fowlr that I was trying to grow corals in with a crappy fluval strip light from petco so nothing grew. Fast forward to now, I bought a house several years ago and had been talking about starting a new tank. I bought a 120g, built a stand, drilled it myself and built my own overflow and bean animal, and bought a fijicube 36 for it. I spent hours crushing rock and building an aquascape, getting it just right, and then found out I was going to be a dad. So it took about 8 months longer getting it setup than I originally planned lol. My son is almost 5 months old now, and I finally have the tank full of water and running with a yellow watchman and a bicolor blenny. The coolest part though, is on June 2, I'll be pulling the 2 clownfish I gave my buddy 6 years ago out of QT and putting them into my tank. So it's kind of come full circle. Got some clean up crew and a macroalgae coming Friday, and will start the qt for them.
