Beautiful Damsel! How is the temperament? Not sure I could ever trust one haha.
Thanks these are springeri’s there’s two at this point (started 2 years ago with 10). They have become a bonded/mated pair spawning regularly laying eggs and nesting in my large sps colonies . This particular damsel stays fairly small and other then bickering amongst one another never really bothering anything else other then my six line wrasse minimal he learned just stay out of the damsel’s general vicinity. They‘ll guard and protect a small area coming out raising their fins when mating/nesting nothing crazy. At one point they were said to be known to eat acro flatworms and other parasites that’s how I ended up with them. I like the color and contrast that they display because it definitely standouts.

I service reef tanks for a living I add these to 90% my tanks not one issue with aggression toward other fish that’s notable. If anything they just set boundaries with new arrivals establish their presence after that they chill out. I highly recommend them for value in terms of color they cost $7-8 each. They have the ability to at least help with pest it’s a win win!

That's wonderful to hear. I've heard similar. The color is outstanding so if they are model citizens they seem like a gorgeous fish to have.

October was brutal with work and the move it sucked the life out of me. Been working on getting the tank back after the move I had a good amount of lose in terms of coral. Things have stabilized, but lots of things bare the scares. Quick updated of how it currently stands and some the things that are doing well.

Well it has been rough I continued having things die at random and or slowly stn. After the move things just weren’t the same even then it wasn’t great. The bugs some how came back were insanely bad I did 12x interceptor treatment that made all my corals brown out or kick the bucket.

Fast Forward to today after I implemented weekly 10 gallon w/c’s running carbon 1/3 cup 24/7 which I replace every 2-3 weeks things improved rapidly. As the corals came back the aiptasia started going nuts tanks a mess spent some time on photo’s for my followers. I’ll discuss my plans going forward here after a bit.

I was doing some early “spring cleaning/decluttering” I found something cool! I’m surprised their intact. All of these came out of my 75 gallon sps setup from 2009-2011 which crashed hard. I’ve never been able to get another blue ridge like the one the left I know it’s ugly I love the PE though. The table was amazing pink/blue, the stag clipping came off my basket ball sized turquoise w/blue tipped Formosa, and TEK sunburst cap in the back, several other montis sunset/rainbow/superman/mystic, forest fire, then some welso’s and acros.

I literally threw away 20+ of those stupid orange iron man shrooms today. Annoying.

I love them send my way for real! I use to have a decent amount 25 probably 6 where huge. For some unknown reason these shrooms hate interceptor which after all the treatments I was left with 2 baby’s on the disk.

So while my one of favorite’s (Fox Flame) didn’t die it hasn’t been happy for roughly 3 months. It went from being Decent like you see in more recent photos to a filament producing turd stick with zero PE. After heavy continuous carbon usage and Wc’s I nocticed this “tip of hope” along with outer polyps somewhat extend I think I’m going to get lucky on this one:). Truly a
tough acro it can halnde a lot it had zero PE for easily 6 months at one point bug infestation and bounced back then too!
