Thanks! I think you’re right. I live in Southern California so I guess that makes sense. I wonder how it got on my rocks.Possibly Cladonema californicum - a hydromedusa rather than a true jellyfish.
Anyone knwo species?No value to you whatsoever but I caught a batch of free-swimming stage of some type of hydrozoa that I found interesting in chaeto/pod QT a while back:

In my case, I had already moved chaeto to my DT and only found these when cleaning out QT tank a couple/few days later. That was 8 months ago and I never noticed any in my DT but who knows?Did they die?
