Want softie lps tank
Display is about 25.5”l x 15.5” d x 18.5”t
So after sand and rock I’m guessing about 30g of water or less in the display portion
Should I do 2 sicce 1.0 (250gph) Ac return pumps or 1 Jebao dcp 2500 (650 gph)
1 ai blade grow 21” (will ad a glow later on & might add another grow further down the line when tank is full of coral)
or 1 noopyche k7 v3 pro
1 Jebao gyre scp 70 (925gph) or 2 sicce voyager nano (1 270gph 1 530gph)
Heater Ehiem 100w, idk about controller
Sand 20lb of Carrib sea arragalive special grade or 15lb of TBS live sand
Rock hopefully some live rock from fb marketplace
Pond matrix bio media in back with filter flos and tunze skimmer (mainly for airation for ph) and a small Amazon Uv light bulb
weekly 4g water change or 8g every 2 week after short cycle
Am I missing anything? Do I need bottle bacteria
Also open to suggestions for other budget friendly suggestions
Moved back to the San Fernando Valley (outskirts of LA) after living in Orlando for about 2 years & discovering and loving reefing for a lil more than half a year (had a IM 15 with noopyche mini then IM 40 cube with hydra32 (never set up and sold) then IM 30 long with 2 ai primes, sold the 15 and 30 setup & then a 4ft x2ft x 16” tall 80 gallon with sump and reefbreeder light, sicce sdc 7.0 return RO classic skimmer and had a 8ftx30”x16”tall 210g acrylic in the garage I sadly didn’t get to set up all in 6 month lol
Ready to get back into already bought tank and stand, would’ve liked a 3ft which is max I could fit in my apartment but the jbj45 seemed like the best fit for my budget I used to always go to Top shelf and once in a while WWC and living reef, I went to a store called vivid aquarium near me and it was pretty dirty (store and tanks) & expensive compared to those 3.
Am I spoiled coming from Orlando or are there any nice reef stores in the SFV or close to it. Even LA 30min to a hour away depending on traffic and area) would be okay for once in a while trips
Sorry for the rant and thanks for the help!
