James M. Lawrence, 1946 - 2023
With deep sadness, we share that the editor and publisher of CORAL, James M. Lawrence of Shelburne, Vermont, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023, at the age of 76.
An accomplished writer, editor, publisher, and entrepreneur, he will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and so many professional colleagues across the globe.
He described himself as a "mere self-taught, amateur marine aquarist" who was proud to have been involved with some 50-plus marine aquarium books, calendar titles, and many hundreds of CORAL magazine articles.
His impact on our lives has been profound.
