I got a new toy and I’m wondering if this window cleaner is “reef safe” or can be sprayed on the aquarium glass and/or around the aquarium? The company told me it’s pet safe but that doesn’t always mean reef safe in my experience.

Yes I am aware I could use vinegar and water and that’s reef safe, but the vinegar damages rubber and is not recommended with my new toy.

Idk, I've always just used plain ol water to clean my glass with a wet paper towel, then a nice good buff dry with a soft towel. Looks good to me, no streaks no issues.

*edit Granted, I have a small 24" cube so I can understand wanting something better for a large tank with a lot of glass.

Wet towel/dry towel has always worked well for me too.

Likely ammonia based but keep it simple with a water vinegar spray solution

I use regular old windex. I spray it on a paper towel and then use the paper towel on the glass. Have been doing this for decades

This might be the right idea…. Maybe I will wet a cloth and wipe it on the tank glass instead of spraying it.

@Randy Holmes-Farley any insights on if it’s reef safe?
