Hello,
I am planning out my clean up crew for my 75 gallon tank
I understand that initially, before the tank is established, you should do less clean up crew or risk some of them starving (and to supplement the algae eating fish with nori!) so I would not be adding them all at once (of course!)
I understand that every tank is different, and requires a different number of clean up crew
If it helps, it'll be an LPS tank, so not too crazy high light for algae growth
Stocking list:
Tomini tang
Lawnmower blenny
Sand sifting goby - after establishing tank, track health & supplement diet
Mandarin dragonet - after long established copepod population, enough for both dragonet and the wrasse
Pink streaked wrasse - after long established copepod population, enough for both dragonet and the wrasse
Royal gramma (not cuc)
Yellow clown goby (not cuc)
Scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp
Tuxedo urchin
Fighting conch
Sand sifting sea star
5 trochus snails
5 nassarius snails
5 cerith snails
5 nerite snails
What I am currently thinking is the snails + tomini + lawnmower blenny initially, and then adding the others as the tank establishes and making sure there is enough food for all of them. Adding a new fish 1 a month, quarantining etc.
Is this okay?
Should I be doing more of anything, less of anything? I don't want to starve my clean up crew!
Thank you very much for your help & advice!
