So I have a 8 gallon QT tank that’s fully cycled and I love using it, but I’m wanting to add a salifin to my tank.Can I still use my QT despite it be extremely small for the tang? I know this may be a stupid question but just wanted to here people thoughts

First I hope that your display tank size is disproportional to your QT ( I mean it is 200 Gal or larger).
Second, I think that testing theory that Sailfin Tang ( even juvenile) can spend few weeks in small prison cell with potentially toxic medication is risky to say at least.
Third, I think that you should spend extra money and go for pre-quarantined fish and introduce it directly to DT.
