Is this Cyano?

I have some unknown maroon-colored blobs on my pavona coral, which is near the top of my tank (see photo). Could this be Cyano?

(I've been fortunate to never have had Cyano in my 2-year-old tank, and most pics I've seen from others show Cyano at the lower levels.)

Any expert feedback would be appreciated!

Actually it kinda does look like cyano, it's not bubble algae. To bad you don't have a microscope, then it would be an easy identification
