1.Is the first picture is of aiptasia or feather duster?
2. I am seeing brown/reddish film like layer on few few sand areas and also on the GSP. Is this cyano?

Sounds like cyano.
I had luck using chemiclean to kill mine, but it won’t do much unless you can isolate the root causes.
I assume this is a newer tank? If so, the tank is still in the maturing phases where it is going through the “uglies,” where all kinds of nuisance algaes come and go.

Yes tank is only 6 months old. Do you suggest to use chemiclean or just focus on keeping tank stable and wait ?
