I had a friend that is getting a new tank, so had to get rid of a lot of his corals.
Some of his zoas have feather dusters, which I’ve heard are healthy for a mature tank.
These pink cat eyes are the only corals that have these. They’ve been in my tank for about a week and have now popped up. He only had them for about a month, and got them from a seasoned reefer.
I’m a new reefer and have just heard horror stories about aiptasia. They kinda resemble them, but are so small it’s hard to tell.
I was curious if a more experienced reefer thought they were feather dusters or aiptasia. Or hell maybe something else . The picture might be too difficult to tell.
