Is this a something, or just weird shell growth on this snail?

Anyone have an idea on what's going on with this snails shell? Just a weird shell growth, or something else? Just saw it this evening.

Looks to be a piggyback hitchhiker hanging off the snail. There are some predators that will attach and drill a hole through the shell and then eat the snail, but I don’t think that this is one of those. Looks more like a crepestula or something similar?

My first thought would be a hoof snail or similar (like a slipper limpet), but I can’t tell for sure. In the second pic it almost looks like there’s a feather duster lophophore (feather crown) or barnacle cirri sticking out the side - is there actually anything there, or are my eyes deceiving me?

I think you need to lay off the juice and if the picture doesn't clear up for you maybe see an eye doctor? :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :dizzy-face: :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

(A better picture may help us all!)
