Hello everyone, I was looking at my mushroom and I noticed this at the bottom. Is it a new mushroom forming? Apologies for the blurred picture

It could be but to me it looks like your mushroom is starting to move. Looks like the foot is starting to reach for lower ground.
When they move they can leave little pieces behind that form new mushrooms.

So like previous poster said its starting to walk a little. I love when mine do that.
If you put a piece of rubble under that part of foot. Let it attach for a month or so. You can then cut that little piece of foot and turn it into a baby for sure.

If I put a Little Rock piece under it and it attaches, how would I cut it? Wouldn’t it hurt the mushroom?

Yup a little piece of rock it can attach to. You would cut it right at base of stem and foot. Right at crease.
Only hurts for few days they get over it. Usually end up with baby with mouth within cpl weeks.
