Hydrostatic and ultrasonic sensors are what we use on chemical tanks at work.
both are going to be considerably more expensive than swapping out your float sensors.
maybe just buy a better grade of float switches than you have now.

Been looking for a better one with no luck. Any ideas? Brand name of the ones used at work?

Doing maintenance and all the float valves are rusting. Is there a way around using them? Double up Solenoids, when statements? double up optical sensors? Flo lok leak detectors?
How and where are you using them?
Have you tried Amazon? I bought complete plastic ones for cheap. Still working after a couple years.
Edit: well, not completely plastic they do have the sensor in it

Just search for eshopps float valve. The one that came with my sump is 100% plastic.

You can also use one with a metal screw if you replace the screw with a nylon one.

But, this kind is so cheap, even if you get one with a metal screw, just replace it once it gets too rusty.

i dont like it , but i use optical sensors (kamoer) and i run 2 ato's... one is a solely backup.. also have low and high sensors on the sump (cole parmer) i dont really trust the optical sensors but so far have had good luck with the kamoer sensors.

the biggest issue my system could possibly have is if the ato runs dry so i make sure its triple redundant to keep sump level constant/ worse case shut down the return pumps
