Is there a HOB skimmer that doesn't emit microbubbles into the tank?

I need a skimmer for my 40 breeder (no sump) and was looking for recommendations. I absolutely hate microbubbles in the display. Believe me, if I could have a sump, I would. I know a sump works best because I have used them in previous builds with success. No bueno on this one. Suggestions, experience?!!

I have read that even the Tunze emits microbubbles. I am currently using a Macro Aqua M50 that I bought on the cheap because of good reviews and if it didn't work I wouldn't be out much. It skims well but I have to deal with microbubbles. Do all HOB's suck? Years ago, I had an AquaMaxx HOB 1.0 that worked great, but produced microbubbles. I sold it after I went to a bigger tank and sump system.

If anyone has a good HOB skimmer, please post what you have. This is my current skimmer:
