I purchased a tank from someone 3 weeks ago and went to see it again today... moving the tank home this coming friday.... it just looks smaller.... and no pollips (retractred you say)... sorry new to the hobby .. is it still healthyLooks like a toadstool to me, is today the first day it closed?
with this one^ also they might start to get a little glossy layer on top. Toadstools she’s to keep any algae off them. People say they look better then ever after shedding and I can also agree to thatToadstools do this from time to time. It will perk up eventually.
Thank you all...Toadstools do this from time to time. It will perk up eventually.
These get moody and can do this. Assure its getting medium flow to keep sediment and algae off of it or it forms a film which prevents polyps from extending. At times, gentle blasts from a turkey baster can perk it upthis is the same coral 3 weeks difference.
is something bad happening to it?

A little iron and potassium in the water seems to keep them happy also
