Thinking about getting some Red Sea NO3-PO4-X to use in my tank. I currently have a Chemi-Pure Blue bag in my media basket. If I use both of these products will they cancel each other by working against each other. Just curious. thanks for any help!

I agree. Organic carbon dosing works fine along with activated carbon.

IMO, the ion exchange resins in that product accomplish nothing useful in seawater, except perhaps binding some organics. It will not bind significant phosphate from seawater.

Nitrates have been my problem and I am finally starting to get them under control. Phosphates I don't have an issue with. Just got the NOPOX from BRS so I'm going to start dosing it as soon as it comes in. I just didnt want to have anything countering the effect of another.

IMO, a good carbon like ROX is better than chemipure. Purigen is good. Neither does much for nitrate so the NOPOX or other carbon dosing is a good addition. Phosphate may need GFO or other binder.
