Is my tank leaking? How urgent is this?

Hi, I have noticed this morning the salt creep on the side of my tank. I can't really see form the bottom since I have a plywood sheet underneath. I don't see any water anywhere just yet. The creep was on the side of the tank

Maybe clean it up and keep an eye on it? Always possible you splashed some water that ran down the glass maybe?

Probably just spilled water. Clean it up good and see if it builds up again.

water can run down off the edge of a full hood....and not necessarily at the place that is the source of where its getting between the hood and the top of the tank...the jet of water out of the anti siphon hole in my return was splashing a little and the water ran along the top of the "level" tank and dripped a foot away....i had considered foam weather stripping along the edge but redrilling the hole in a different spot took care of it
