Hello everyone.

I had a beautiful black lether coral.
It was all good since 3 months however yesterday it became like this in a video. I have no idea what is going on and what to do. You can also see the picture when it was healthy.

Any help I would appreciated.

Odd.. I would no doubt give it an iodine bath for a bit and put back and see how that goes..

Doesn't seem like its self fragging.. Hmmm interesting.. [USERGROUP=61]@ReefSquad[/USERGROUP]?
I do not have iodine now, but I put it into dip solution for 4 mins. I will be watching if smth goes wrong. I am afraid that it is rotting. Hopefully not.

Fully expected to open this thread and post "No, they do that all the time to clean themselves". But I have no idea what is going on with that.

None of your CUC is eating on it?

nope, nothing is eating it. I also have other corals and there just fine. I also heard they change the skin however I never saw how is it looks like.
