No lid, I have a small fan on the tank but still just hitting 30 degrees in the tank. We’re due 40 degree heat Monday!
Freeze some water bottles so you can float them if necessary

I searched up a couple threads for you on hot tanks. Looks like you can float a cold water bottle. I also thought you might do a small refrigerated water change. Hope this helps.

I have a bta and the clown has started hosting.

the nem was double the size it is now. Is the clown to aggressive for it?

I watched the clown today and he was really going at the nem

I attached a video.

it looks like symbiotic relationship is starting, I added my BTA in Dec and same as you it was big, since then it just hid in a cave and only last month or 2 it has started to come out and my clown fish has started to host as well, your BTA don't close up so I assume it has no problems with your clown hosting, if bta shows sign of stress then yes look into changing flow to make it move but I would just let it do it's thing

Thank you, I’ve managed to get the tank to 26 degrees now.

Yes mine hasn’t closed up, is open quite a bit. Just looks a lot smaller from when I bought it. The bubbles have also gone it now looks more like tentecles
