Is it possible to grow corals with cheap light?

I’m new to reef tanks hoppy, can I find specific easy types of corals, that can live with cheap light, or lights that I was using in my planted freshwater tanks?

Almost all softies will grow with a regular "daylight" / full spectrum light

depends what you mean by "cheap" light. That is very vague and freshwater lights are also numerous in power/type.

Keep in mind, most corals will look brown under them.
