Iron seems to want any excuse to precipitate.
I wouldn't try to combine it with anything unless I knew it would work. There's different forms of Fe supplements, so if you tell what specific Fe supplement, you may get a better answer.

The stuff I'm using is iron (II) sulfate heptahydrate and sodium citrate from one of Randy's recipes. I could use the newer recipe of iron supplements.

BTW, my iron sulfate heptahydrate is getting lumpy and has some yellowish/ orangeish discoloration. The chunks break up pretty easily, is it still good?

That I don't know. I mix magnesium and calcium but haven't tried with other supplements.
You just answered a question I was rather afraid to ask here lol. So mixing magnesium and calcium into one dosage pump is okay and has no odd effects to the tubing or anything?

Zero, nadda. Been doing it for well over a year now with no ill effects. I suspect this is how 2-part dosing is mixed.

Mixing ferrous citrate and a magnesium supplement should be OK chemically, but any dilution of iron supplements and hence mixing with more O2 does risk precipitation of ferric hydroxide/oxide.
