I keep mine on the regular photo setting with the grid turned on. Then just 2-2.5x zoom. Anything after that you will get the grainy look. I then focus lock on the coral then either slide the dimmer up or down depending on the lighting time. I also use an orange filter.What settings are you taking those with. I never get that clear or focused shots.
I have found though if you’re taking pictures from the front or side your camera has to be absolutely straight or it will also cause refraction from the water and come out blurry.I will give that a shot. Thank you.
Those are good! I can tell in the second pic you had your phone slightly tilted and got the distortion in the picture. And yeah filters are a must especially in a heavy blue tank.I have an iPhone 12 Pro, and it takes good pictures:

Filters are definitely keyNice picks. I struggled with galaxy 10 photos until I bought an IceCap macro lens with filters.
