Hi all

My name is Michael , I am pretty new to reefing , I spent many years with tropical tanks.

I have a susscessful nano tank which has been running for a few years now , after this success I have now starting cycling my new reef tank. See below equipment.

1 x Redsea 350 Gen 2
2 x Reef flare Pro M lighting
1 x Deltec 1000i Protein skimmer
1 x Vectra M2 return pump
4 x Vortex MP40s
1 x ReefMat 500 fleece roller.
1 x Deltec Twin Tech calcium reactor
1 x Reef Factory KH Keeper Pro
1 x Reef Factory Salinity Guardian
2 x Reef Factory PH sensors (Tank and Reactor)
1 x Reef factory Thermo controllers with DD fans and DD Titanium Heater.
1 x Reef Factory 3 head doser
1 x Reef Factory Level Keeper
1 x DD 10w UV

I also have a custom aquascape made by Col at R&R aquascapes.

My new aquarium is currently cycling , which I will continue to do so for another 3 months.

I have build a custom PDU using DJ switches, due to the amount of plugs , therefore my tank currently uses 3 plugs which serve 3nr 8way PDUs.

I attached a photo of my aquascape and PDU. I will post more photos this weekend of my sumo area , cable management is really important to me.

Look forward to getting to know you all

Thanks Kris

I'm going for a mixed reef tank , so on the arch will be full of acropora, monipora, etc where PAR levels will be high.

Then moving down I will have a mixture of LPS such as duncans , trumpets, todsalls etc.

The bottom the scape will have touch gardens , hammer and frog spawn gardens.

I'm also looking at some acans and favias around the bottom.

I will also add grass polops to the rear glass of the tank, I did this on my nano , looks really good.

My target parameters will be as followed.
KH - 8.5
Cg - 420
Mg - 1320
Nitrates - <5
Phosphates - 0.02
Salinty - 1.025
Temperature - 26degc

I also have a reef factory 3 head doser , however I'm not sure what I will be dosing yet, this all depends on ICP testing once stock starts to go in. Most likely Strontium and ION , I will most likely use NO3PO4X for nutrient control.
