So I actually may upgrade early, (very excited ofc lol), but I'm still having trouble deciding on which tank. But hey that's fun part about upgrading lol.
Initially I decided to settle around an Innovative Marine INT 200, which is the length size I'd like to have. I don't plan on really adding more fish, I'd just like to upgrade to give my fish more room instead of constantly rehoming them (my single yellow tang, blue tang, and fox face. So I want a tank that is atlleast 6 feet tall.
But I previously asked on here if it was possible to have a shallow reef tank instead, which is essentially what the SR 120. It's 6 feet long, 2 feet wide but only 16 inches tall, which makes it a lot easier for me to do maintenance, but others have said it would be to small for blue hippo tangs and other large fish. However @Jay Hemdal, hypothesizes that fish do not seem to care about the width and height of a tank and just the length? So is it possible to get the SR 120 and modify it too have a sump?
