I fully agree that these little cephalopods are absolutely fascinating. They have the ability to not only change their color, but also the texture of their skin. What has stopped me from setting up a tank for them is that they only live maybe 2, but no more than 3 years.

I've looked into starting a cuttlefish tank - I think they're fascinating.
But what's always stopped me is that they only live about a year. And they supposedly have very protracted, drawn out deaths - from what I've read, they slowly wither away over a period of weeks and/or months. That wouldn't be very fun to watch.
